"All-In-One" THORSBRENNER Changing Station
After embarking on motherhood herself, Michelle Thorsbrenner approached me about an idea she had for a foldable baby changing bag. Based on a traditional Scandinavian bag that expectant parents would sew together themselves, I helped her to refine the design in terms of carefully considered details and functionality. The main aim was to provide parents with a bag that would help them with their newborn and would continue to serve them as the child grew.
After a very successful Kick-Starter campaign, Michelle is now selling her bag set online. The main bag (which she calls the 'Changing Station') folds out to reveal enough pockets for everything a child needs and there are bespoke labels to help you remember what is stored where. There is also a removable organic cotton changing mat which is lightly padded and folds up for easy transportation away from the Changing Station. The set includes a stroller bag which sits snuggly inside the Changing Station, can be clipped to your child's pushchair or worn as a cross-body bag. It has enough room for bottles and other essentials, plus the changing mat when it is folded. Finally, there is a clutch bag which is easily attached to either the main bag or stroller bag for smaller items such as your phone/keys/wallet, plus a clip on dummy pouch and drawstring wet bag.
